Do you know that nothing has a bigger impact on whether someone votes, or how they vote, than direct voter contact?

I started working on political campaigns in 1998. I have made it my career.

Do you know how elections are won?

Elections are won when a real person reaches out, either by knocking on their door or calling them on the phone, and TALKS to them!

That's the whole game. That's what matters. That's what decides elections.

And talking to people, well if you are anything like me, that's not your favorite thing to do.

But if you do this, we win. It's that simple.

You already know what is at stake this election.

Do you really want to be asking yourself whether you could have done something, after the election is over?

No. You don't.

So queers, let's get this done. LFG.

@GottaLaff @nytimes They published this a while ago and now they're republishing. It's interesting - the Times was awful in campaign coverage for the most part, but this month they've been really hammering the importance of voting Harris and the existential dangers of Trump. Which is extra impressive with the LA Times and Washington Post running the opposite direction.

“This is the beginning of how Trump is going to control the media”, says Editor-at-large of The Washington Post, Robert Kagan, who now quits after the Post’s owner Jeff Bezos has decided that for the first time in history, the editorial page of the Post is not allowed to endorse a political candidate — allegedly to protect his relationship with Trump, and to protect his company Amazon, which is very much dependent on good relations with the potential future US president.
