ETA: Transient Ischemic Attack could cause visual disturbances as well, in addition to possible speaking difficulties. Could be a potential explanation for why he stops talking and starts dancing lately, if he can't read the teleprompter and is having (extra) trouble arranging his thoughts or elucidating them.
Usually not serious to have a single TIA, but having a lot of them would be quite bad.
