The new iPad mini starts shipping tomorrow, but I've had one nearly a week for testing. It's a great little tablet, with plenty of use cases, that I discovered isn't for me anymore—for now. And that's okay!

It’s really astounding—wait, no, it isn’t because tech news sites don’t care about covering accessibility regularly—how my review of the new iPad mini is so different than everyone else’s. Everyone I’ve read this morning say more or less the same things.
Also, goddammit, Touch ID isn’t “outdated.”

@riazrahaman @appleinsider I've mentioned it here and will discuss it in upcoming reviews, but Apple Intelligence offers simple but useful features. I've entirely replaced Grammarly with Apple's Writing Tools Proofread function, saving me over $100 a year. Plus, summaries for notifications and email have made sorting through what's important or what needs immediate action much easier.
I'm sure the new iMac and MacBook Pro with identical designs and a new M4 processor will get the same ridicule as the iPad mini 7, right?
