@CalcProgrammer1 I didn't even think of that while I was reading the article, I guess because I rarely do anything that uses wads of data on my phone -- I save those things for my desktop. But now that I think about it, I do depend greatly on public Wi-Fi at conferences -- I couldn't to my work without it -- and in hotel rooms.

If you do NOT want this, you don't need to do anything. It's an opt-in system, so by default you're not part of it.

If you're not opted in, your public posts will still be searchable by hashtag if you include hashtags in your posts.
