I’m not sure the editors over at ABC understand what the word “dispirited” actually means. We have historic early voting, incredible passion on display at Harris rallies, an endless parade of celebrity endorsements, and a huge number of people constantly refreshing media websites.
I don’t see how that translates into “dispirited”

Yo siempre he sido muy crítico con la obsesión con el poder taumatúrgico de las autoridades. Pero hemos convertido en obligatorio que el responsable de turno se ponga unas botas y una chaqueta / fachaleco (dependiendo de la adscripción ideológica) y aparezca junto a gente con palas o mangueras en sitios donde su utilidad marginal es infinitamente menor que en un centro de coordinación o su propio despacho

We often do "how to vote" education while canvassing. We look up polling places, answer questions about vote-by-mail (still new in PA), tell people about ballot drop box locations, help people track their ballot, tell them how to replace missing ballot.
This is especially the case with new voters!
