can you believe that computers used to have miniture furnaces in them to smelt multi-metal alloys at specific temperatures up to 700 °C in order to modify how much they scatter light and we stopped doing it not because it's complicated but because it was too slow

Started all of this in 2017 by inviting Lemmer-Webber - sponsored a week of indiewebcamp in this awesome watertower for a week https://watertorenvlissingen.com/ and at the weekend we did then drove to the first panel at fosdem where maybe Askan was also present (or maybe that was another fosdem, there were so many ;)
