@phillycodehound I agree that the policy/practice should have been changed well in advance of the election and it looks terrible. But I also wonder just how many people outside the paper would have noticed the absence of an endorsement, if there had not been such a strong reaction internally. And, wouldn’t anyone reading the Post’s regular political reporting likely draw the same conclusion as an explicit endorsement?
